If you&#8217;d like some shipped to your door, have a look at the order pages: <a href=\"https:\/\/gregalder.com\/yardposts\/product\/gem-avocados\/\">here for primo fruit<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/gregalder.com\/yardposts\/product\/farmers-box-of-gem-avocados\/\">here for &#8220;farmers&#8221; fruit<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>GEM<\/strong> is a cream-of-the-crop avocado that was selected by <strong>G<\/strong>ray <strong>E<\/strong>. <strong>M<\/strong>artin while working for the University of California avocado breeding program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The GEM avocado is slightly larger and rounder than Hass on average, and with a slightly larger and pointier seed. The skin of GEM is a bit thicker than Hass, and it has shimmering speckles when unripe.
