The response from my Hass tree to girdling has been consistent and predictable, but the responses from these other varieties was variable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hellen and Lamb trees flowered intensely on the girdled limbs, as I hoped. However, the #86 and Sharwil trees produced almost no flowers on the girdled limbs.
