It’s all about cherimoyas in Jacques’ garden this month. Have you ever eaten these “custard apples,” also called Annona cherimola? They’re tropical green fruit that look like they have alligator skin.

Very nice, thanks for the full year of videos! Your description of those cherimoyas almost seems like the pineapple guava’s (feijoas), I sort of taste a banana texture with tropical slight pineapple tartness/acidicness? Also for some reason I get many different flavor variations from the same feijoa tree, depending on size and ripeness, but sounds sort of similar based on your description? I’ve never had a cherimoya, so I can’t make a direct comparison…
El Bumpo Cherimoya is my favorite fruit of our 130 strong food forest.
Tastes like piña colada sorbet. Only healthy.
