Sharwil avocado tree: video profile

Where does the Sharwil avocado variety come from? How does it grow? Does it fruit well? Is it an A or B flower? Would it be a good one for your yard?

I have bought two little sharwill avocados from reputable nurseries recently. After doing well for weeks, both began to die. The tip of the top branch very slowly turns black and continues to spread downward. Cutting back appears to work at first but weeks later picks back up from that spot.

All my other trees have prospered under the same conditions. Is sharwill hardy? This has happened during spring and summer.
