I put an irrigation control box under an avocado tree. Bees took over and even put out a swarm when the hive got large enough. They were very gentle bees. The tree died back due to lack of water and the bees left. But what’s better than having a bee hive right under your avocado tree? A coyote bush to keep them feeding, that’s what.
